Who this is for

Most of our students arrive in one of three situations

Never driven at all

You've never sat in the driver's seat. We start with the controls, stationary, in a quiet lane — no traffic on day one.

Have an LL, need practice

You've got the learning licence and maybe a family member has shown you a bit. We fill the gaps and get you test-ready.

Haven't driven in years

You learnt once, life happened, and now the idea of city traffic is daunting. A short refresher usually fixes that.

The course

What you'll learn, week by week

A typical 21-session course runs over three to four weeks. We'll adjust the pace to you — we won't stretch it to sell you extra sessions.

Seat and mirror position, steering grip, clutch and the biting point, gentle starts and stops. Straight-line driving in a quiet lane with no traffic. By the end of the week you'll move the car smoothly from a standstill without stalling.

Upshifting and downshifting, left and right turns, roundabouts, indicator habits and the mirror routine that examiners actually watch for. We move onto light traffic roads near the branch.

Shahibaug traffic, Ashram Road turns, Civil Hospital circle, and the kind of unpredictable two-wheeler behaviour you'll meet every day. This is the week that separates people who can operate a car from people who can drive one.

Reverse parking, parallel parking, the 8-track, hill starts, and a full mock RTO test on the actual test pattern. You'll know exactly what test day looks like before you sit it.
Choosing

Manual or automatic — an honest answer

Manual (with gears)

Harder to learn, but a manual licence lets you drive both manual and automatic cars. If you're likely to drive a family car, a rented car, or anything you don't own, learn manual.

Takes most people about three to four weeks.

Automatic

Genuinely easier, and in Ahmedabad's stop-start traffic it's far less tiring. The catch is that an automatic-only licence restricts you to automatic vehicles.

Our honest recommendation: if you're buying your own automatic car and won't drive anything else, automatic is the sensible choice. Otherwise learn manual — it costs a little more effort once and saves you being stuck later.

FAQ

Car training questions

Three to four weeks for a complete beginner on our 21-session course. If you've driven before, ten sessions is usually enough. We'll give you an honest assessment after the free demo rather than selling you a fixed package.

Ask us to confirm the session length at your branch when you book. Be careful comparing schools on price alone — some advertise cheap "hours" that turn out to be twenty minutes of actual driving time.

You need a learning licence to drive on public roads. We can start your training and file your LL application at the same time — most students do exactly that. See our learning licence page for the document list.

It happens, and it isn't the end of anything. We'll tell you what went wrong, give you targeted practice on that specific point, and help you rebook. The government re-test fee is charged at actuals.

Yes. This is worth asking every driving school you consider — an uninsured training vehicle leaves you exposed if anything happens during a lesson.
